If you're traveling out of the area and plan to use your MUCFCU Miami VISA Gold Card, VISA Classic Card, or MasterCard Check/Debit Card:
You must let us know in advance what locations you will be traveling to, and the dates of travel. (Your cards may not work unless you let us know in advance!)
We can determine if there is an ATM network that will honor your card.
We will notify our Fraud Monitoring Service of your travel plans. To protect you, they will follow your card activity and respond appropriately in the event of misuse.
Important: After the high-profile retail security breaches in recent years, many financial institutions and card issuers have updated their security procedures. Now, whenever you plan to use your credit or debit cards anywhere outside the country OR over 200 miles away from your home within the U.S.A., you should let your credit union or bank know about your travel plans.
